At territorial level, the association is organized in local coordinating offices as representative structures without juridical personality.
For now, there are local coordinating offices in Motru, Tg-Jiu (Gorj County), Baia de Aramă, (Mehedinti County), Craiova (Dolj County), and Buzau and others are in progress to be constituted in Drobeta Tr. Severin, Strehaia etc.
The aim of these local coordinating offices is: „to facilitate the youth’s access to information”
Objectives of local coordinating offices:
-to create centres of information related to the European Union, government and local public authorities programmes regarding youth issues;
-to strengthen the civic participation of youngsters and the work on principles of sustainable development, regional integration, cultural diversity and social inclusion in a real, local and European citizenship;
-to promote youngsters and to stimulate the associative life among youngsters at local and regional level;
-to promote and to extend the dialog between youth institutions and governmental institutions;
-to promote entrepreneurial activities among youngsters;
-to encourage international cooperation as a possibility to strengthen the youngsters’ role in society.
Local Coordinating Office from Motru, Gorj
In order to create a local coordinating office of our association in Motru, we trained the youngsters that will make part of our team.
In between November 5th-7th 2004, 2 youngsters from The Technical High School from Motru participated as representatives of our organization in the seminar: “The art to find a job”, organized at Tismana, Gorj County by The National Youth Authority.
In between November 20th-21st 2004, 8 youngsters from The Technical High School from Motru participated as representatives of our organization in a seminar about how to initiate and finance a business: “To be or not to be an enterpriser“organized by Romanian Communication Centre, Gorj branch, at Tismana.
On November 24th 2004, Florin Cioclov, coordinator of The Local Coordinating Office from Motru participated in: “The forum of youth NGOs from Gorj” organized by The National Youth Authority.
On November 23rd 2004 The Technical High School from Motru represented by Mircea Ardeiu as Director and the “Youth and Local Development” Association , represented by Catalin-Ionut Cornea as Vice-president signed a partnership having as objective the creation of a local coordinating office of our organization that will develop in the future an information centre for the youth from the town and will contribute to their promotion through involving in different projects abroad or in the country.
The mayor of Motru, Dorin Hanu and representatives of other youth NGOs that will be directly involved in the promotion activity of youngsters from the area, took part in the event.
Florin Cioclov was named coordinator of the Local Coordinating Office from Motru.
Local Coordinating Office from Baia de Arama, Mehedinti
In order to create a local coordinating office in Baia de Arama we had meetings with the director of The High School, Cornel Ploscaru and with teachers involved in students activities. On December 23th 2004, the discussions materialized through the signing of the partnership between the association „Youth and Local Development” and „Constantin Brancoveanu” Industrial High School. Claudiu Netoiu was named coordinator of the Local Coordinating Office from Baia de Arama.
Local Coordinating Office from Tg-Jiu, Gorj
In order to create a local coordinating office in Tg-Jiu we discussed with the director of the High School, Dorina Popescu, with Sorin Torop, who is a teacher and with other teachers involved in the youth field. On January 1st 2005 we signed the partnership with „ION MINCU” Technological High School .
Sorin Torop was named coordinator of the Local Coordinating Office from Tg-Jiu.
Local Coordinating Office from Craiova, Dolj
In order to create a local coordinating office of YRDA in Craiova we discussed with the president of OSACE Dan Costin Tusaliu but also with other leaders of students from Craiova so that in 15.02.2005, the debates were materialised in signing the partnership between YRDA and OSACE.
Dragos Dudau is coordinator of the Local Coordinating Office from Craiova.
BCL Novaci - Gorj
Pentru constituirea unui Birou de Coordonare Locala al ATDR în localitatea Novaci, jud. Gorj, s-au purtat discutii impreuna cu directorul Liceului Teoretic Novaci, prof. Taralesca Madalina, dar si cu profesori apropiati de activitatile elevilor. Astfel in data de 01.05.2006, discutiile au fost concretizate in semnarea parteneriatului intre ATDR si Liceului Teoretic Novaci. Coordonatorul BCL Novaci al ATDR a fost numita d-ra prof. Hohoi Narcisa.
BCL Bucuresti
Infiintarea unui Birou de Coordonare Locala in Bucuresti a aparut pe de o parte ca o necesitate de reprezentare a ATDR la nivel national, ca urmare a complexitatii proiectelor desfasurate de organizatie, iar pe de alta parte din nevoia de organizare la nivel local a celor aproximativ 15 tineri din Bucuresti care au participat in vara 2006 la proiectele internationale ale ATDR.
Astfel, in data de 10.09.2006, Adunarea Generala a ATDR a hotarat infiintarea BCL Bucuresti, coordonator fiind numita Adina Maria Calafateanu.
